Awesome total raised at British GP
Despite covid restrictions, Two Wheels for Life brought some Day of Champions magic to the British GP crowd and raised a fantastic total to support vital work across Africa.
We are delighted to announce that our fundraising at this year’s British GP raised £123,720 to support transport for healthcare programmes across Africa.
Our auctions alone totalled £76,160. The remaining income coming from two-seat rides, the raffle, ride-in, VIP tickets, and our helmet park.

As you’d expect from the recent news of Valentino Rossi’s retirement, the items he offered encouraged bidders to part with spectacular amounts of money. The winning bid for a signed Valentino Rossi fan club cap was £3,200 and his signed racing boots from the 2021 season raised a whopping £10,000!
But it wasn’t just The Doctor who came out in support. With the encouragement of commentator Michael Hill and Danny John-Jules, Red Dwarf star and Motorcycle fanatic on stage other items donated by riders also created a big splash. A signed rear wheel from Alex Marquez totalled £2,200, a signed pair of Miguel Oliveira´s Alpinestars MotoGP boots reached £1,550, signed Takaaki Nakagami boots hit £1,000, and the top bid on a Marc Marquez knee slider from Sachsenring was an amazing £1,000.
