Two Wheels shortlisted for prestigious awards for digital transformation project
We are delighted to have have been shortlisted for two awards for our work helping partner organisation Riders for Health harness new technologies.
For the last few years Two Wheels have been working on an ambitious project to help African partner organisation Riders for Health harness new technologies in order to make their services safer, faster, more effective and more economical.
The project has seen great successes including freeing up health workers’ time so they can spend longer in communities, saving money spent on data input, facilitating better data sharing within their own teams and with partners, and increasing the health impact on communities they serve, amongst other things.
We are delighted to have have been shortlisted for two prestigious awards for this work. The first is the Charity Times Digital Transformation award, given to charities who can show a total transformation of traditionally physical functions into more efficienct virtual operations, and focusing on a sustainable use of digital, rather than temporary solutions. The second is the Third Sector Digital Innovation award, given to organisations pushing the boundaries of digital technology to reach supporters, donors, or beneficiaries. Past winners include the British Heart Foundation and Amnesty International UK.
Both awards ceremonies are in September and we look forward to sharing the news of the events soon.
