End of Year Report 2024
Find out how throughout a jam packed 2024 we worked to support of Riders for Health's award winning transport for healthcare programmes.
Thank you everybody who has supported us in 2024
What a busy year it’s been! As the official charity partner of Goodwood Festival or Speed, our activity in MotoGP™ and with campaigns like Gift a Motorcycle and our 2025 MotoGP™ Calendar we’ve not stopped.
We owe a huge thank you to everybody who’s supported us, from the organisations, racing teams and riders, to everybody who’s bought tickets for events or experiences, bid in our auction or bought from our shop – and particularly our volunteers. Because of you, health care is reaching more people in Lesotho, The Gambia, Nigeria and Malawi and we have helped save and improve millions of lives throughout Africa.

Fundraising
In January 2024 we were delighted to host ambassador Vanessa Ruck, fresh off the finish line of the Africa Eco Race on a visit to Riders for Health programme in The Gambia. Having just become the first British woman to complete the gruelling 6,000km challenge, in a test of skill and resilience, Vanessa travelled direct from Dakar in Senegal to The Riders for Health programme in nearby The Gambia to see first hand the amazing work the team there are doing.

In an exciting shake up to our fundraising schedule, 2024 saw Two Wheels for Life become the official charity partner of the world renowned Goodwood Festival of Speed 2024! Not only did we raise over 100k, but the event brought us to a new audience and was a chance for celebrity supporters old and new to represent our work with Kenny Roberts, Randy Mamola, Pol Tarres and Alessandro Botturi riding the famous “hill climb” to promote Two Wheels for Life’s work.

As the official charity of MotoGP™ and the FIM, we, as ever, offered behind-the-scenes access at MotoGP™ with experiences & memorabilia auctions, prize draws and our annual Day of Champions event as part of the Monster Energy British Grand Prix. MotoGP™ continued to be our biggest income generator in 2024, thanks to the support of Dorna, IRTA, the FIM and all teams and riders in the series.

Another great year for MotoGP fans who got amazing access to the sport they love thanks to Two Wheels for Life.

This year we again had a presence at the MOTUL FIM Superbike World Championship at Donington Park, hosting memorabilia auctions and a rider concert featuring the wonderful Michael Hill whose stage antics really put the fun in fundraising.
Out and about, we travelled to motorcycle events with the help of our incredible volunteers. We could be found at the Adventure Bike Rider Festival, the Ténéré Travel Trophy, The Malle Mile and Motorcycle Live at the NEC, where we met lovely people and shared the story of our work.

We were also delighted to again work with Yamaha Motor Europe as the official sponsor of the Yamaha World Raid Rally Team and with The Bike Shed who we worked with to launch a Captain’s table event in November. Watch this space for more similar events soon!

Impact
Two Wheels for Life was able to support the life saving work of our sister organisation, Riders for Health. Together we ensure healthcare continues to be accessible to those who need it, using motorcycles and other vehicles.

Community nurse Lamin Jallow who allowed us to follow him on a visit a remote village in January 2024 which he is able to access because of his motorcycle. Here he measures a young girl to check her growth is progressing as it should.
