May date announced for Day of Champions 2025
With Dorna announcing the date for the British Grand Prix at Silverstone 2025, we can now confirm that the next Day of Champions will take place on Thursday 22 May 2025!
On race day of the British Grand Prix at Silverstone, Two Wheels for Life heard the exciting news that the 2025 GP would take place from 23-25 May 2025. This exciting development will see MotoGP™️ return three months earlier, in May, rather than its usual early August slot.
MotoGP™️ fans raised over £246,000 for Two Wheels for Life during the Monster Energy Grand Prix at Silverstone, including the Day of Champions which again brought fans up close to their heroes and proved a fun day for fans of all ages.
After talks with Dorna and Silverstone we can now annouce that Day of Champions will take place as part of the MotoGP™, on Thursday 22 May 2025!

While Day of Champions has taken place in August for the last few years it’s not always been that way. The very first Day of Champions was at Brands Hatch on 3rd November 1989. The event also had a breif time at been Santa Pod race track before becoming a firm part of the British Grand Prix weekend, first at Donington and now at Silverstone.
